Jewellery and cash stolen

DETECTIVES are appealing for information following two recent burglaries in South Derry.

A house on Dromore Road, Desertmartin was broken into sometime between 9.30am and 5pm on Saturday, November 24. Jewellery was stolen and police believe the thieves may have been disturbed and fled.

Also on the same date, a house on the Gortinure Road Maghera was broken into between 3.30pm and 4.30pm. A sum of cash and gold jewellery was stolen.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity or suspicious vehicles in these areas is asked to contact police at Magherafelt station on 0845 600 8000 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
