Link between incidents probed

DETECTIVES in Dungannon are trying to establish if there are any links between burglary and attempted burglary incidents reported on Wednesday past, September 19.

Shortly before 5pm, a couple returned to their home at Cullenrammer Road, Greystone, to find it had been broken into via the rear door. The house was ransacked and a chequebook and cards were stolen.

Earlier, shortly before 3.30pm, a woman had been in a house at Tullyreavy Road, Skenaghergny, when the front door was forced open by a man. He ran off when he saw her.

The would-be-intruder made off in a silver car in the direction of Pomeroy.

Anyone with information about either incident or about a sliver car being used in suspicious circumstances is asked to contact the CID in Dungannon.
