Man assaulted in Omagh

A 23-year-old man needed 11 stitches to a lip injury following an assault in Omagh.

The incident happened at Castle Street at about 2.30am on Saturday and involved a number of people not known to the injured party.

The number to call is 0845 600 8000, quoting reference number 1066 11/08/12. Information can also be given to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
