Man faces court over cross-border crime spree

A man is due to appear in court in charged in connection with a cross-border crime spree which included premises in Dungannon. The man, 30, is expected to face a number of charges including aggravated burglary, stealing, taking a vehicle without authority and four counts of burglary.

He will appear at Newry Magistrate’s Court.

A spokesman for the PSNI said the charges would be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

It is believed the charges relate to burglaries in the Newry, Dungannon, Omagh and Co Monaghan areas during May and June.
