Paedophile father’s legal challenge fails

A MAN jailed for sexually abusing his daughter has failed in a bid to overturn his conviction.

48 year-old Michael Christopher Bradley was sentenced to 13 years behind bars for a four-year campaign of molestation.

Victim Ciara Bradley waived her anonymity to speak out about the abuse which started when she was nine.

Her father, formerly of Corrick Road, Draperstown, was convicted of a catalogue of sex crimes between 1999 and 2003.

He plied her with Cola laced with vodka and forced her to watch porn movies before carrying out the indecent assaults.

Bradley had appealed the guilty verdict by claiming his former legal representatives had been incompetent, but this was rejected by the Court of Appeal.
