Pair arrested after sheep stolen

TWO men have been arrested on suspicion of handling stolen sheep.

The men are aged 66 and 20 and were detained in the Coagh area of Cookstown on Monday evening, February 25.

Thirty sheep alleged to have been stolen in the Coagh area last week, were recovered by police.

The men were charged with theft and handling stolen goods and released on bail to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on March 22.
