Police appeal following car fire

POLICE in Dungannon are appealing for information about a fire that destroyed a car.

The fire service turned out to a report of a Rover car on fire at Ann Street shortly before 5am on Saturday.

Police suspect that an attempt had been made to ‘hot wire’ the car and this caused a fire.

The number to call is 0845 600 8000, quoting reference number 267 29/09/12.
