Police appeal for information on Dungannon assault

POLICE in Dungannon are appealing for information following an assault in the Thomas Street area on the evening of Thursday 10th January.

A man was in commercial premises in the area when he was verbally abused by a man and two women and was then punched. The man left the premises, where he was chased and hit with a pool cue. It is not believed that the man’s injuries need medical attention.

Anyone with any information about this incident is asked to contact Dungannon Police Station on 0845 600 8000. Or if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
