Police investigate stolen car fire

POLICE are investigating reports that a car was stolen and later set alight in the Augher area on Wednesday (February 6th).

A silver Peugeot 206 car was reported stolen sometime between 11pm (5th) and 3am in the Annaloughan Road area on Wednesday (February 6th) and was discovered on fire in the Irish Street area at around 4.18am.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed anything to contact them. They particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have noticed any suspicious activity in and around the area.
