Public order offences denied

A DUNGANNON man has denied a number of public order charges when he appeared before the town’s Magistrates Court.

Gary Gerard McCabe, 24, from Donaghmore Road, is accused of one count each of disorderly behaviour and possessing an offensive weapon, namely an iron bar.

He also faces two charges of criminal damage in relation to an alleged incident, at Donaghmore Road, on August 3.

It is alleged that McCabe damaged a double glazed window and a Renault Modis car on this date.

A lawyer for McCabe told the court all charges were to be contested.

The case was adjourned until September 19 to arrange a date for contest hearing.
