Search to find owner of winning Lottery ticket

LOCAL people are being urged to check their pockets, wallets, bins and cars for a million pound winning lottery ticket which has remained unclaimed for almost four months.

If the ticket is located, one very lucky person from the Fermanagh-South Tyrone area could well be enjoying a bumper Christmas this year.

The mystery ticket has scooped a cool million in the Euromillions raffle prize but doesn’t appear to know it yet.

Now the National Lottery has issued a plea to help Santa arrive early for the millionaire owner.

The ticket was bought for the draw on August 3 and scooped the £1 million Millionaire Raffle prize.

For every Euromillions line played, UK players automatically receive a EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle selection printed on their ticket.

In this case, the winning code is GCR760097.

“We’re urging everyone to check their tickets and hopefully the winner will come forward in time to enjoy an extra special Christmas,” a Camelot spokesman said.

If no one comes forward to claim the winning ticket then the prize money, plus all the interest generated, will go to the National Lottery Good Causes.
