Two arrested in investigations into alleged Coalisland intimidation of witness case

TWO males have been arrested by detectives from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch in relation to an investigation into the alleged intimidation of a witness in the Coalisland area.

The men aged 36 and 43 were arrested in Belfast this morning and are now being questioned in relation to the alleged intimidation of a witness in a Crown Court case which occured in Coalisland area on 8th January 2013.

As part of their continuing investigation, detectives have also issued a photo of a man they would like to identify as part of their ongoing investigation into the intimidation of a witness in the court case.

Police are seeking to identify the man to eliminate him from their enquiries. Anyone with information is asked to contact detectives on 028 9180 1507. Alternatively, people can provide information anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Four men have been arrested and charged as part of the investigation.
