Improvements to the Milltown area of Dungannon which have seen new flower beds and hedges installed have been welcomed.

Ulster Unionist Party Candidate for Fermanagh and South Tyrone Rosemary Barton has joined with her colleague Councillor Walter Cuddy to welcome the new hedges that have been planted at the roundabout.

Mrs Barton said: "These new hedges will definitely lift the image of Milltown, and I hope during the Summer months we will see flowers bloom.

"Thanks must be given to Mid Ulster Council for carrying out these minor yet important improvements."

Mid Ulster UUP councillor Walter Cuddy added: "Many of my constituents in Milltown had approached me about getting some sort of decoration or horticultural display for Milltown. I am pleased to see new plants are being put in place which will tidy up the area overall."
