Cllr O’Neill who also thanked Transport NI for their quick response, said that most concerning was reports that emergency services had been unable to move through the street on a number of occasions.

“It was agreed by all members of the group that these bollards should be put in place, and we would hope that this will be supported by drivers”, he added. “I would also ask drivers not to park at the right hand side of the one way street to help ease the flow of traffic through the town.”
