Further disruption is to be caused by the closure of the Drumkee Road in Killyman for another month.
Motorists and business people in the area faced delays to their journeys when the road was closed for several months last year as part of NIE’s Tamnamore Substation project.
The Drumkee Road will be closed from 6 May to 29 May, said a spokesperson for NIE
At the end of November last year, NIE said it would be carrying out cable testing after discovering that some “remedial work” was needed.
Traffic controls along part of the Drumkee Road have been in place over recent months.

“Diversions via the Ballynakilly Road and Coash Road will be in operation and local residents and businesses can access their properties using the diversion route”, she added.
