Police have made one arrest following an assault in a play park in Dungannon.
Officers said they had received reports of antisocial behaviour around the lineside area, after which fires were reported to have been lit at a park on the Ballygawley Road.
A group of young people had congregated in the area according to police.
While investigating these reports of anti-social behaviour, the PSNI said one arrest took place following a report of an assault.
Calling on parents to make sure they know where their children are - and what they are doing - a spokesperson for the force said police would like to remind people that any incidents of anti-social behaviour will be dealt with robustly.
PC Tim Hampton said: “Anti-social behaviour can be a blight on any area and can seriously affect the quality of life of residents. Make sure you know where your children are and what they are doing.
“We are also willing to meet anyone who has any concerns or suggestions on additional measures we can use to tackle these issues.”
