Older people from across the Mid Ulster District Council area will be given the chance to have their say on issues which are important to them at a local meeting of the Northern Ireland Pensioners Parliament.
Since its establishment in 2011, the parliament has engaged with thousands of older people across Northern Ireland through a variety of ways.
This year, for the first time parliaments will be held in each new council area.
These parliaments will take place between February and April and will ensure that older people’s views from every council area in the north are represented.
The events will feature interactive voting, discussion and question and answer sessions with panels of local councillors and MLAs.
You can register online at www.agesectorplatform.org for the local pensioners parliament for Mid Ulster area, which is due to take place on Friday April 15 at the Glenavon House Hotel in Cookstown.
Alternatively, you can call the organisation on 028 9031 2089.
