With just two weeks to go, this year’s St Patrick’s Day celebrations in Dungannon promises to be the biggest yet, with large crowds expected to take to the streets to mark the occasion.

According to the organisers of the 2015 event, five bands have been confirmed as taking part in the festivities so far.

Visitors to Dungannon on the day can look forward to witnessing a sea of colour and celebration, with spectacles including the hugely popular ‘Frozen’ float, Samba dancers and many more acts and groups scheduled to take part.

A spokesperson for those behind the event said: “This will be a fun filled day for all the family.”

Any local groups or clubs which are interested in joining the St Patrick’s Day parade are encouraged to get in touch with the organisers on 07517 337 990.

The parade is set to commence at Anne Street in the town from 3pm on St Patrick’s Day.

Further details about all the entertainment on offer will be featured in next week’s issue of the TYRONE TIMES.
