With the sun set to shine over Mid Ulster for two whole days, you might want to ditch whatever plans you had and make the most of this rare occurrence.

The hottest temperature predicted is 22 Celsius today and 23C tomorrow.

“Both days are looking pleasantly warm with some decent sunshine,” said a spokeswoman for PA Meteogroup.

It will be more unsettled from Wednesday, with Thursday likely to be rainy most of the day.

But, with summer nearing an end, the Mail’s advice would be to grab those sun spectacles and enjoy the short good spell with a day at the beach, or maybe you even hire a covertable for a nice drive around the countryside.
