ORRITOR Primary School pupil Bobbi Ellis Kane has been named the Co Tyrone regional winner in the ‘Boosting Breakfast’ t-shirt slogan competition.

The competition, co-ordinated by safefood and the Public Health Agency, challenged key stage 2 pupils to come up with a slogan that ‘brings breakfast to life’. The aim is to encourage children to start each day with a healthy breakfast and support the themes of ‘Eat, Taste and Grow’ – a free education resource developed in partnership by safefood and the Public Health Agency.

Bobbi’s t-shirt slogan of ‘Wakey wakey rise and shine, oats will make you feel sublime!’ was selected from over 800 entries across 33 primary schools in Tyrone to win her class a trip to Streamvale Open Farm, Belfast.
