Friends from near and far came together at Corrick House to recognise the dedication Maurice Morrow has shown to his role as a Councillor in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council.

Maurice commenced his Councillor role in 1973 as the only Councillor for the DUP

and has seen the party grow to its current size of 6 councillors in Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council. Maurice retired from Dungannon and South Tyrone Borough Council in December 2013.

Nigel Dodds MP, Deputy Leader of the DUP addressed the crowd and paid tribute to

the great work Maurice has done throughout his years in Dungannon Council and the

legacy he has left. Tributes were also paid to Jennifer Morrow, Maurice’s wife for all the support she has given over the years.

A beautiful painting of Dungannon Park and a Bouquet of flowers were presented to

Maurice and Jennifer in recognition of their hard work and commitment to the People of Dungannon.
