Dungannon Golden Ticket winner’s delight

One lucky lady is celebrating after scooping the Dungannon ‘Golden Ticket’ worth £2500 in gift vouchers.

Lisete de Costa’s entry to Dungannon’s Golden Ticket Competition had been drawn from thousands of entries received to win an awesome £2,500 of shopping vouchers to spend in Dungannon businesses.

Chair of Dungannon Trader’s Association Stephen Mohan telephoned Lisete to tell her the good news and she said she couldn’t believe she had won.

She said: “I was shocked, I cried, I screamed, laughed and really could not believe it. I am sure Stephen’s ear was ringing. Your hear of other people winning but that never happens to me, but it has. I am so shocked and so so delighted.”

Lisete, who has been living in Dungannon since 2003 and works as a classroom assistant in St Patrick’s Primary School said she always shops in Dungannon, “I do all my shopping in Dungannon, it’s a great town. I find the staff in the shops so friendly, helpful and the choice available is amazing.

“I entered the competition in three different businesses – Beauty Secrets, McSorley’s Hardware and Benetton. “I think that Dungannon choice of shops makes shopping easy and there is nothing you cannot find,” she added.

Speaking about what she plans to spend her vouchers on, Lisete said she is spoilt for choice in Dungannon and will enjoy planning what to do with them,

“This win is brilliant for me and my family. y wish list could go on and on but I will plan a good day ordays out. I look forward to going to the hairdressers, beautians, looking for a new outfit and then have relaxing coffee breaks followed by a night out with my family.

“I can also see with some of the vouchers I can purchase lovely items for my children and will treat my sister, mother, boyfriend and off course my work colleagues too.”
