A FORMER goalkeeper for Dungannon Swifts has been cleared of all charges against him relating to an alleged incident of rape,
33-year-old Alvin Rouse, of Old Armagh Road, Monaghan was charged with three counts of rape, two counts of sexual assault, one of causing a person to engage in a sexual act and one of false imprisonment on 29th April 2012.
The charges had related to an alleged incident outside an nightclub in Cookstown
Mr Rouse who now plays for Ballnamallard appeared at East Tyrone Magistrates this morning briefly when the PPS confirmed that all charges had been withdrawn against him.
