A 35-year-old man appeared in court today (Friday), charged with the murder of his housemate.
Tomas Hornay, who is originally from east Timor, is accused of stabbing his fellow countryman Luis Nazario Ximines at the house they shared in Co Tyrone last summer.
Mr Ximines (36) died from fatal stab wounds in the Woodvale Park area of Dungannon on August 1, 2013. At the time of his death, Mr Ximines was understood to be working on the town.
Through a translator Hornay, from Woodvale Park in Dungannon, pleaded not guilty when the murder charge was put to him at Dungannon Crown Court, sitting in Belfast.
The trial, which is expected to last around three weeks, is due to commence in Dungannon on November 10, 2014.
After entering a not guilty plea, Hornay was remanded back into custody.
