PEOPLE living in the Killyman area will face further disruption as cabling work continues on the Drumkee Road from this week onwards.
The work is expected to last for eight weeks, according to Northern Ireland Electricity (NIE).
A spokeswoman for NIE told the TYRONE TIMES that diversions will be in place for traffic along the Ballynakilly Road and Coash Road for the duration of this period.
“This project is part of a major investment plan to upgrade the electricity network in this area and help Northern Ireland meet government targets for renewable energy”, the spokeswoman said.
“The Drumkee Road will be closed at its junction with the Drumaspil Road to the entrance of the substation from 30 June for eight weeks.
