THERE was a large turnout in Moy today, Friday, for the official opening of the Peace Factory, which offers a number of valuable and vital services to victims and survivors of the conflict.
The Peace Factory, which formerly operated from premises in Dungannon, is now open at Charlemont Street, next to McKeever’s Chemist.
Among those in attendance was Dungannon Councillor, Denise Mullen, whose father Denis was shot dead at the family home outside Moy in September 1975.
Denise, who holds the position of Administrator/Caretaker at the Peace Factory, was joined by her mother Olive and son Connor.
Others who came along were SDLP Clogher Valley councillor, Anthony McGonnell, as well as families whose lives were affected by the Troubles.
