TEACHERS from schools in the Clonoe Parish were in attendance at an event to launch Speedwell’s new digital enhancement project.

Schools from the Dungannon and Cookstown areas were also represented at the information workshop, the purpose of which was to highlight a range of programmes which Speedwell offers.

The Digital Enhancement Project allowed Speedwell to install interactive whiteboards and data projectors, and a wireless bridge to allow internet access to each classroom. As well as participating in outdoor activities, visitors to the Speedwell Centre will be able to avail of interactive education. Teachers included in the photo above are Eileen Ward, (Aughamullan PS), Cath Crute (Dungannon PS), Cathy O’Neill (St John’s PS, Kingsisland) and Sheena Smyth (St Patrick’s PS, Dungannon).
