Coalisland residents lined the streets of the town on Thursday evening to show solidarity with the people of Gaza.
The rally organised by local Sinn Fein representatives was well attended with many taking part in the procession around the town holding Palestinian flags and posters.
Sinn Fein Councillor Nuala Donnelly told the TIMES: “Sinn Féin organised a rally in Coalisland to show solidarity to the Palestinian people and to call for an immediate end to the Israeli army’s assault on Gaza. “Sinn Féin is sending a clear message that the oppression of the Palestinian people must end. To date, more than 500 people have been killed, the vast majority Palestinian civilians, many of them children.
“This cannot be allowed to continue.”
