A woman was injured when she was attacked by two Staffordshire Bull Terriers in Cookstown this week.

Posting on their Facebook page, the local PSNI revealed the council warden had seized the dogs after the attack on the Old Coagh Road, Cookstown close to Beechway.

The dogs have been sized by the Cookstown Council Dog Warden and we are trying to identify an owner as they are not chipped.

“She has puncture wounds to her hand and arm,” said the police.

“The dogs have been sized by the Cookstown Council Dog Warden and we are trying to identify an owner as they are not chipped.
