Woman cut from car after Tyrone crash

A 24-year-old woman had to be cut from her car following a two-vehicle collision on a Tyrone road on Saturday morning.

Firefighters who were called to the scene from three nearby towns, used hydraulic cutting equipment to release her from the vehicle.

A 33-year-old woman, who was in the other car, was treated at the scene by paramedics.

Both women were taken to hospital for treatment to their injuries.

The crash took place on Gargadis Road near Trillick, Dromore at 10.32am on October 29.

Fire crews from Dromore, Omagh and Irvinestown attended.
