Dungannon Credit Union celebrate 50th Anniversary

In recognition of their 50th Anniversary and to celebrate this achievement, Dungannon Credit Union hosted their first Family Fun Day.

The day was a huge success with an excellent turnout. The venue was Ranfurly arts & Visitor Centre and the children enjoyed punch & judy shows, balloon modellers, cartoon characters, dancers, craft workshops and much more.

Adults were also catered for with an adult zone with giant jenga and connect four as well as tea and coffee facilities.

Organiser of the event Niamh O’Hara, marketing and business development officer for Dungannon Credit Union said: “We were delighted at the turnout for the Family Fun Day, it exceeded all expectations and was a fabulous day for all the family.

“On August 20th, 50 years since we were first formed, we launched our Golden Anniversary booklet. A journey looking back over the last 50 years. The booklet written by Mr Bertie Foley, is an interesting an informative read.”

The Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers of Dungannon Credit Union would like to say thank you to all their members for their continued support over the past 50 years and look forward to serving the financial needs of the community for the next 50 years.
