A MEMBER of the Brantry A.O.H. Division 207 has been appointed as the National Pro-life Officer to the Ancient Order of Hibernian’s ruling body, the Board of Erin.
Brother Donal Muldoon received confirmation of the appointment earlier this month.
“We are delighted at the news”, a spokesman for the Brantry Division said. “Out of all the Hibernian Divisions across Ireland and Scotland this honour goes to the Brantry. Donal has done us proud and we know that he will do a magnificent job in this important new role. Our prayers are with him”.
The position was created as a response to the growing threat from the Abortion Trade in Ireland, according to the Hibernians. Mr. Muldoon’s work will involve liaison with pro-life groups across Ireland.
