Brackaville’s one hundred percent record in 2012 is still in place as they had eight points to spare over Dregish. Dregish to their credit made a game of it in the first half as they trailed 0-6 to 0-3 at the short whistle.

Sean Corr, Paddy Gervin, Ciaran Gervin and Marty Gervin all on target for the Roes.

The second half belonged to the hosts as they closed out the win with points from Cahir McGuiness, Paddy and Ciaran Gervin and a brace from Sean Corr, which keeps them joint top of the Division three table with Dungannon.

Dungannon also remain unbeaten as they picked up another two points, as they had three points in hand at the end.

These two points have come at a cost for the Clarkes as they saw influential players Kiefar Morgan and Decky Trainer both dismissed for straight red card offences in the second half.

Points from Matthew Walsh, Adam Mallon, Patrick Quinn and a goal from Sean Anthony Burns helped the Clarkes open up an early six point lead.

The visitors kicked three unanswered with Mallon scoring the last of the half to leave it 1-4 to 0-3. Newtonstewart opened the scoring in the second half before McNulty, Domnic Hand and Quinn with a brace of frees regained the Clarkes six point advantage.

The home side then sawtheir two men sent packing, along with the visitors corner back before, with the numerical advantage, Newtownstewart scored 1-1 in the last few minutes, with their goal coming from the penalty spot.

Two goals in the opening five minutes from Cathal Cuddy and Rory McGlone set Aghaloo on their road to victory on Sunday afternoon.

Stephen Donnelly, Mark McCormack, Tiernan Donnelly, Kevin O’Gorman and John O’Neill amongst their first half scorers. Fintona hit two goals before the break to leave three points between the sides.

McGlone, Gerard McCaughey and two Stephen Donnelly frees, sandwiched in between points from Cathal Cuddy and John O’Neill ensured the hosts pushed on and secured the two points on offer.
