In a remarkably close finish Bernadette Keenan won the coveted cup by edging out Pauline Campbell and Ann Currie in Dungannon’s Lady Captain’s Day, all three players carding a splendid 37 points.
The highlight of the Ladies’ calendar is Lady Captain’s Day, so it was with much delight that Alexis Davidson woke up to a dry, though very windy, Saturday to greet the competitors for her beautiful array of prizes.

Runner-up on the big day, Pauline Campbell carried her good form into the annual Sandra Campbell Breast Cancer Open, now in its 20th Year.
In memory of the Past Captain and popular member, Sandra initiated this when diagnosed with the disease and, after her untimely death in 2005, the family continued it to raise funds for Cancer Research. Indeed, the golf, raffle and auction this year raised a wonderful £3150.
