Cookstown Youth hold AGM

CYFC held its AGM on Tuesday 26th June 2012 and the following Office Bearers were elected:

Chairmen: Maxy McIlwee/Stafford Thompson. Vice Chairman: Philip McWilliams, Secretary: Alan Carson, Treasurer: Nigel Talbot, Assistant Treasurer: Niall Hunter, Fixtures/Transport Secretary: Nigel Talbot, Public Relations Officer: Andy Kelly, Child Protection Officers: Maxy McIlwee and Andy Kelly.

Coaching positions are as follows: Development Centre Manager: Kyra Kelly, Development Centre Assistant Manager: Gary Stewart, U11 Manager: Jonny Scott, U12 Manager: Andy Warwick, U13 Manager: Nigel Talbot, U14 Manager: Andy Kelly, U15 Manager: TBC, U16 Manager: TBC, U18 Manager: Niall Hunter.

The CYFC Board remains the same and the Management Committee will be the Office Bearers and Team Managers who will meet on the first Thursday of each month with the exception of July.

The next Committee Meeting will take place on August 2.

CYFC wish all its members a great Summer Soccer Festival and a successful season ahead.

SOCCER FESTIVAL

The CYFC/Sheffield Wednesday FC Soccer Festival kicked off on Monday 2nd July at the Mid Ulster Sports Arena.

Coaching will run from 10am until 4pm daily and the Festival will come to an end on Friday 6th July 2012.

CYFC wish U18 Coach Keith Rollins (Bam Bam) all the very best after his BIG MATCH on Friday, when he married Leanne. May you both have a long and happy future together!!
