Dungannon Manchester United supporters had their annual golf classic in memory of former chairman Sean Campbell and, on a huigely enjoyable day with a bumber turn-out, it was very fitting that the winner with 39 points was Sean’s son, Jason.

Derek Chambers was runner-up on 37, the other prizewinners being Philip Rea who won the putter kindly sponsored by Fred Daly Golf and Paddy O’Kane who won closest to the hole. Thanks go to organiser Bruce Carmichael and Dungannon Golf Course and the restaurant for the sumptuous meal.

Membership is now due and those renewing members should do so by July 31. Prices to join 1 United is £30 for adults with a further £15 to join the Dungannon Supporters Club. Concessions apply to membership of 1 United for U16s and it’s free to join Dungannon Branch.
