Invitation to IFA small sided games consultation evening

The Irish Football Association Grassroots Team invites all those involved in, or with an interest in, football for young people aged 12 and under to a presentation of its new plans for Small-Sided Games in Northern Ireland.

The consultation evenings will be held at a number of venues across the country, with Loughry College in Cookstown hosting an evening on Wednesday 7th November from 7-9pm.

The purpose of the roadshows is to provide information on Small-Sided Games and generate discussion on the way forward.

There have already been a number of consultations regarding the proposed changes and the roadshows will allow more people to take part in the discussion. The Irish FA is keen to gather as wide a range of views as possible and ensure that all interested parties have the opportunity to comment.

The presentation will cover a range of issues including why these changes are being proposed, what the changes will involve, how they will be implemented, facilities and the timescale. There will be opportunities for questions and answers. The event should not last longer than 90 minutes and refreshments will be available.

If you wish to attend it would be helpful if you could confirm your attendance by contacting the Irish FA’s Grassroots Development Officer for the area Ciaran Donaghy, by email (cdonaghy@irishfa.com) or by phone on 07894614304.
