Open team classic was a big success

Plastic Players - Philip Williamson, Nigel Morton, Philip Rea, Harold Stafford - with a score of 105 points were the winners of a four-day Open Team Classic which was a huge success and raised funds for the Aughnacloy Club.

Ladies winners were The Fab Four – Pam Williamson, Ann Cullen, Ruth Houston, Hannah Williamson - who also carded 105, while - per haps ironically - Daryl’s Back win the novice prize with 107 points.

The prizes consisted of beautiful Cavan Crystal boxes, with a round of golf for four to various golf clubs including Carton House, Headford, Rossmore, Kilkeel, Ardglass, to name but a few - all generously donated.
