World famous golfing commentator Peter Alliss came to Dungannon on Sunday week to do a piece on the home course of Darren Clarke for a programme which will include the Irish Open at Portrush and will be shown in early September.

Good week for Sarah
Sarah Rafferty’s excellent form continued on Tuesday when she won the Scratch Trophy and June Silver Medal, sponsored by Enda McLarnon of Smith & Williamson Accountants, with a gross score of 77.
The Bronze Medal went to Alison Chestnutt, net 70 and there were three twos – Jayne Henry, Janet Forbes and Sarah Rafferty.
Wednesday Medal
The Wednesday medal was won by Coalisland draper Conor Lowe, right, in a tight finish from Joe Cavlan and John Troy.

Runner-up: Joe Cavlan 41BB9
Third: John Troy 41
There were six twos.
Teams reports
The Meile Cup team played against Armagh on Sunday week. They won all their matches and are through to the next round in which they play Ballycastle.
The Intermediate team are through to their next round and play against City of Derry.
The Minor Cup team play against Rossmore at home on Thursday.
