Swifts bring in Tuda

Dungannon Swifts have made goalkeeper Tuda Murphy their second signing of the January transfer window.

Murphy has been drafted in to provide competition for Jonny Curran following the departure of Niall Morgan who has quit Stangmore Park to play GAA with Tyrone.

Dungannon manager Darren Murphy believes the former Portadown and Glenavon shot-stopper is a positive addition.

“Tuda brings experience having played in the Irish League for two good sides in Portadown and Glenavon,” said Murphy.

“He already knows numerous players from the current Swifts squad and is a very welcome addition to us. I am looking forward to working with Tuda who will provide healthy competition for Jonny Curran.”
