Have your say

Dungannon are propping up the Division 2A table in the All-Ireland League and only troubles Ards are below them in the Ulster Senior League, so it hardly comes as any surprise that the club have acted to address their worrying on-pitch problems.

The new came when club president Derek Clements welcomed his Cashel counterpart, Patsy O’Connor, at the normal pre-match reception on Saturday he announced that the Dungannon Club Committee have now appointed a Review Committee consisting of Hugh McCaughey, Gary Leslie, Willie Milligan and Kenny Wright to address what they describe as ‘the current malaise at Stevenson Park’.

That newly-formed action group will be reporting their findings soon but, in the meantime, Kenny Wright is acting as Rugby Chairman.

It’s obvious that something quickly needs to be done - coaching co-ordinator Mark Henderson and Seconds manager Derek McMullan having already stepped down from their posts at Stevenson Park.
