Saturday morning sees the start of the Schools Cup and Dungannon Royal School have a home draw against Carrickfergus Grammar.

RSD Coach Gareth McClintock is pleased with that and he is keen that his young charges progress.

The team will have sound leadership in team captain Peter Doran and vice-captain David Cooper, both of whom have Ulster Schools U19 experience under their belt this season.

Carrick accounted for Strabane Grammar 10-3 in a preliminary round and their taste of cup action will unquestionably have settled any nerves they may have had.

But RSD want to make home advantage count and a mout-watering tie is anticipated and all local support would be very welcome.
