Eagles Special Olympics club enjoyed a light session In the local primary school ahead of the Easter Holidays, although there won’t be much time to relax for the busy club.

They will be back in action this Thursday for Sports Relief Challenge. All sponsorship money should be brought and for 1000 hurdle challenge.

On Sunday the club heads to Belfast for competitive action against clubs from Antrim, Down, Belfast and Starbreakers of Carrickmore at Mary Peters track - an invitational event hosted by the All Stars Club and a chance to post competitive results.

The footballers compete in Division 3 and games begin on April 9th at Omagh Sports Complex. This is the teams first endeavour into league action so anything will be a bonus and we wish them every success in the coming weeks

Eagles were all treated to a magnificent Easter gift courtesy of Seana Quinn of Rural Development Council and UCAN Group. A group of local young people created fantastic baskets for each athlete as part of a project and they were very well received by our smiling happy athletes.

Remember that the time is running out if you want to join us for competitive action in the big cycle event. Act now.
