MARIE Curie Cancer Care has raised a massive £65,000 in the space of just two days with the help of Tesco customers across Northern Ireland.
This fantastic sum includes £5,300 raised at the Cookstown and Dungannon stores.
Volunteers on behalf of the charity held two one day collections on 29 January and 1 March at the doors of Tesco stores across the province and customers responded very generously to this extremely worthwhile charity.
Tesco announced their charity of the year partnership with Marie Curie Cancer Care last month and it is anticipated that the stores in Northern Ireland will raise at least £150,000 before the end of the year.
