A PENSIONER evacuated from her Dungannon home is residing in premises described as a 'dungeon'.
Evelyn Bartley was one of seventeen people ushered out of their homes following an arson attack on premises at Milltown.
Heat from the blaze which broke out in the early hours of last Saturday morning shattered windows in nearby houses.
On Friday, the Mayor of the Borough, Lord Maurice Morrow, visited the Bartley home to see the devastation.

Bang

Mrs Bartley told the TYRONE TIMES that, "My son heard a bang like a petrol bomb going off but I didn't hear a thing until a fireman knocked on my bedroom window to tell me what was happening.
"The walls were roasting and the door handle was red hot. It was an inferno."
The newly elected Mayor of the Borough, Lord Maurice Morrow, visited the residents and pledged to keep in close contact as the Housing Executive works to get the row of houses back to order, "It's like living in a cave or a dungeon at the moment," he said as he visited Mrs Bartley in her home.
"We hope to get windows back into the building within a week," he said.
Work
"The Housing Executive are doing good work but I want to keep the pressure on and return the residents to some degree of humanity as quickly as possible."
Evelyn was evacuated by police car and stayed overnight at her daughter's house before being able to return to her home the next day.
