Grant aid available to Coalisland shops

DUNGANNON and South Tyrone Borough Council in conjunction with Coalisland Regeneration Partnership (CRP) are inviting applications from commercial property owners/tenants for grant assistance to enhance and improve their shop frontages within a defined boundary in Coalisland town centre.
A Drop–in Information Session will be held on Wednesday 21st January from 2.00pm – 5.30pm at Michael Herron Architects, 64-66A Main Street, Coalisland to provide details on the grant programme.
Grant aid is available at a rate of 50% of eligible project costs up to a maximum of £4,000 and the closing date for applications is 4.00pm on Friday 13th February 2009.
The aim of the programme is improve the overall physical appearance of the town centre by providing grant incentives to property owners to invest in their premises. The programme is funded by the Department for Social Development (DSD) under the Neighbourhood Renewal Programme.
