WITH the General Election just months away, the Electoral Office for Northern Ireland has launched several initiatives and pilot schemes for voters in Tyrone.
These are aimed at making it easier for people to secure their vote and check that their registration is up-to-date.
For people in Fermanagh and South Tyrone, the Omagh electoral office is piloting a scheme that will see late night opening once a week.
Area offices in Londonderry and Banbridge will also open late once a week.
Meanwhile temporary sub-offices will open on one afternoon each week for the next six weeks.
