A new television drama from BBC Northern Ireland is to get an exclusive screening at Seamus Heaney HomePlace in Bellaghy.
Written by Barry Devlin and filmed in Northern Ireland, My Mother and Other Strangers is set to become a Sunday evening highlight in the run up to Christmas.
On Thursday, October 27 the first episode will be shown at HomePlace at a special screening event.
My Mother and Other Strangers is set in the fictional village of Moybeg on the shores of Lough Neagh during World War Two and explores the impact of a large US Army Air Force airfield on the neighbouring community.
The BBC said HomePlace has special family resonances for Barry Devlin and it is delighted to be introducing its screening in Bellaghy.
