Twenty-one years on and Boyzone are still packing out venues filled with screaming fans.
On Saturday night, Ronan, Keith, Shane and Mikey thrilled crowds in a packed ‘circus style’ marquee in Falls Park, Belfast as part of the Feile an Phobail celebrations.
Finishing off their Summer tour, the ‘boyz’ said they had ‘definitely saved the best for last’ remarking that the Belfast crowds had always been the loudest down through the years.
Singing a variety of songs from their back catalogues including ‘Love Me for a Reason’, ‘Words’ and ‘When the Going Gets Tough’ as well as some of their latest hits from their last album BZ20.
The ‘boyz’ also paid tribute to band mate Stephen Gately who died suddenly in October 2009 while on holiday in Spain.
The crowds chanted ‘Steo, Steo...’ as the boyz paid personal tributes to their ‘brother’ saying he was ‘always present with them wherever they go and always will be.’
