Cookstown Together Fun Day builds on last year’s success

Based on the success of the Cookstown Together fun day held last year, the council are hosting another event on Saturday,February 22 from 12pm to 5pm in the Leisure Centre.

Inviting people from all communities, the event aims to bring ‘Cookstown Together’ in what promises to be another fun filled Saturday afternoon out.

There will be opportunities to taste a wide selection of the activities on offer in Cookstown.

There is no better time to get active in your local community with a wide range of activities on offer the afternoon from building a bear, magic shows, inflatables, crazy carts, climbing wall, face painting, Play Shack, Cage Soccer, and much more!

The entry fee is £4 each or £10 for a family ticket, making this an affordable afternoon out and a good opportunity to see if you enjoy any of the activities on offer at a subsidised rate.

Chairman of the Good Relations Committee, Councillor John McNamee said: “I hope that people can take a few hours out of their busy Saturday to attend this worthwhile and affordable day out and hope that the community enjoys ‘Cookstown Together’ as a fun filled and action packed day. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
